Seunghee Shin
Seunghee Shin ist eine koreanische Künstlerin, sie ist aktuell im Hochtaunus tätig. Sie absolvierte ein Diplomstudium für Design (Glas, Keramik, Porzellan) in Krefeld an der Hochschule Niederrhein und hält einen Bachelor of Arts der Seoul National University of Science & Technology in Korea. Sie war u.a. als Dozentin für Keramikkunst und -design an der Seoul National University of Science and Technology tätig.
Ihre Kunstwerke wurden in zahlreichen nationalen und internationalen Ausstellungen in Korea, den USA, Deutschland, Frankreich und den Niederlande ausgestellt. Ihre Werke befinden sich in zahlreichen Sammlungen.
Mehrfach wurden ihre Ausstellungen von der Korea Ceramic Foundation und der Gangdong Cultural Foundation in Seoul veranstaltet und unterstützt. Ihre Ausstellung im Hendrick Hamel Museum in den Niederlanden fand mit Unterstützung der Koreanischen Botschaft statt.
Natur und Energie sind für Seunghee Shin substantiell und ihre Inspirationsquelle. Die Verbindung von Farbe und Licht, Natur und innerer Welt schaffen in ihren Werken visuelle Entspannung.
Sie konzentriert sich in ihrer Arbeit auf kontemplative Erfahrungen mit Naturelementen.
